It's always a source of great delight and eternal joy to discover the wiring mess left behind by previous owners and/or the demented baboons that they had employed as mechanics to work on the car!

Among other things, I cleaned the door´s plastic parts with Brian´s recommended product, which worked a treat.

And repaired the small and fragile plastic pieces that affix that ëyebrow¨to the door card. When I dismantled the door I managed to break a couple of them flush with their base. So I cut a toothpick, put it inside the cylinder, and poured Loctite in while holding it straight (the longer toothpick makes for an easier alignment) until the glue hardened enough. Did that several times until the little assy cylinder-toothpick was full to the edge, and cut the tooth pick flush. The result was so good that I treated all the rest of the unbroken cylinders the same way.

Ive changed the rear drop links on the 135. Though they weren't picked up at the MOT and didnt have unacceptable play,  their rubber bushes looked very rough and deteriorated so theses may have been the originals. It was justified as one of the steel tubes pulled out of the drop link as it had seized onto its bolt, needing be cut off.  They aren't difficult or expensive to replace. The only slight pain is the brake disk needs to be partially removed to access one of the bolts.

Not a lot , took my boot acctuator out as it dided after four or five uses.... so got a replacement coming.
Changed the boot light to LED
Booked car in at garage for an inner drive shaft  CV boot as I dropped the spacer for  the acctuator under the car and saw the boot was shreaded,
Then went shopping, the MG fits in the parking spaces a lot better than my last car, where I could only park on the edge lol

Stripped my front callipers down, soaked them in citric acid, painted with VHT paint and re-assembled.

My life has been transformed since i watched this video on rust removal, no more wire wheels getting cut in edges, and bits of brass wire flying off.

Just got mine - back in one after a few years - so a few bits to do.
Previous owner was an older chap and it sat in his garage. It had a lot of non standard badges and stickers which have now been removed. Inside was proper mingin' so really just been getting stuck in with various cleaners to get things tidy. Sadly found when I collected it that the rear corner of the bumper needs a repair as he rattle canned a scratch there - badly - and also fixed an owners club badge to the front by drilling holes for it in the bumper. Bodyshop for a quote this afternoon.
Couple of orders from a well known auction site to replace missing screw covers, replace the awful gear and handbrake gaiters, and mismatched heater control knobs ....
