Sorry - missed that if it was for me for the quote for the bumpers ... you'd think so eh - but no, just a local bodyshop. Think he just threw a number out there and didn't really want the work. Getting it with decorators too at the minute. Quotes to paper a hall and then a bedroom with a feature papered wall - quotes ranging from £1800 to £4500 ... do me a favour.

Fortunately now had a smart repair guy quote £500 which is much better, but will need to wait until the new year ...

4 years ago my sprayers last job before he retired  was my Jag, he was an approved Jaguar Landrover sprayer.  he chopped out and replaced my rear arches (i supplied them) , sprayed the bumper, boot lid one back door and rear,















 

blending it in seamlessly and it cost £1.300 !!  I fitted new wings and my bonnet was vandalised the year before and that respay was £500... he was a great sprayed and had a long waiting list

Nothing. Waiting for a parcel delivery from Mike Satur that should have been delivered on 22/08/2025 by DHL next day.  This in my opinion is a useless delivery company they state that its out for delivery by 20.00 for the last week,  guess what .... it never arrives!  I've had parcels from China and Thailand delivered in less time!  DHL has only delivered a load of disappointment and frustration so far for me.  Anyone else had similar problems with this lot?       Glyn.

Bought a wiper motor off Ebay. Checked delivery last night at 10pm..."we have collected your parcel"..."we will let you know when it's out for delivery"
So this morning I wake up to an email saying "we tried to deliver your parcel today"
I was up at 8am..mudt have been nightshift..

Never had a problem with EVRI, I think a lot of it is down to the agent that does your area, the one that does the area I live in is brilliant, praised by most of her recipients as being first class.

Had a few issues as I live remotely and my postcode covers quite a few houses. We now have a whatsapp group to notify each other of deliveries going to the wrong house. Not confined to any delivery co in particular - they are all the same.

Just been enjoying the car this week a little bit in between the school runs.

gave the hood a bit of a clean and then sealed it up with some water repealant hood protector and will give it a second going over today in the garage since its raining outside.

Off to the US of A next week with work so gotta have to take to good of the TF while I can as for the next 2 weeks a wallowly, auto slosh bucket will be the steed of choice for me 

Don't know if its relevant but Mike Satur has been in hospital (as of 4 days ago according to his FB page) with a collapsed artery he has had a stent fitted and i think is home now for recovery.
