Finally managed to get the TF back down on 4 wheels.
It runs very well after a good service but I now have
to sort out a few electrical problems, then it should be ready for it's m.o.t.....fingers crossed.
This one has been a real p.i.a

Claire and Jon came down from Rough Luck Racing down on the 23rd  and did a cam belt and full service . it had the cam belts done 5k miles ago but that was 10 years ago !!
Great guys and worked non stop for 3 hours , although Claire did most of the work while Jon supped copious anound of tea lol .
They did a great job and a couple of extras. I dont know how they make any money as the price is rediculously low .
Photos off their Facebook page ...

Thought - I'm gonna sell it.

Cleaned, photographed and put it up on Car and Classic and Gumtree.

Had strong interest despite quite an ambitious asking price with a viewing requested.

Decided - nah, don't want to, I'd regret it, and removed it from sale.

Adjusted my throttle cable to take up slack. It was a hint after me thinking the car was a bit slow - see what happens.

Had air loss sorted by taking the wheel to a garage who found the seal was messed up and so air was leaking. They polished the inside of the rim up, applied some adhesive and then refitted the tyre, balanced with new valve so hopefully all sorted.

Got caught out in the snow, Had the Twingo inside to chage the brakes and fluids and then stupidly left the TF out on the drive... So I've had to dig the ol' girl out.

But on the Plus side, I have just recieved a ebay purchase.

A new Airbox, flexible air funnel hose and it came with a - pretty much unused by the looks of it - Pipecross panel filter.

I noted when inspecting the car last year that the hose that goes from the airbox to the side scoop was split and perished.
Now I know its not going to do anything but when a full assembly and new filter came up on ebay I thought why not...

will force me to get the engine panel off when the snow clears up and do a few little jobs in there while i'm at it.

I got lucky. The day before it was due to snow I washed my TF and put it back in the garage nice and clean so I can detail it and a few other jobs.
My van and my wife's car look like your TF!
Pretty bad snow around me and haven't been able to get out down the forest road for a week!!
