Also been driven from Aberdeen to Fife after being washed so not really clean.
Had Bertie for around 2 months now, around 2.5k covered so far.. what an utter blast to drive 😁

Replaced the clutch slave cylinder.
Never attempted anything like that before - quite fiddly and took me quite a while to bleed..... but went for a test run last night and it works!! :woohoo:

Well what a lovely day..thought I would do something on the mg for a change has I've been suffering from industrial white finger...in my case they have turned frim a oily black to spotless white because I've been off for two weeks so I've got grubby again...otherwise nobody from work will recognise me on Monday. ..rain is pouring down now I'm trapped in the garage

Rounded the day off with a Polish to bring the trophy blue back to normal.....nice doing it indoors while it's thrashing it down outside...see what tomorrow brings if it's still raining I will leave the tf shut away..

After driving it every day since the MOT pass I managed to break it yesterday - clutch arm seized solid!

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

Replaced my boot liner, managed to acquire a 2002 version with the map pocket in bang tidy condition. My original got damaged when a bottle of black trim cleaner leaked out all over the boot!
Also touched up the paintwork with LEF paint where there was a bit of rust coming through due to water ingress from the rear lights, also sorted the light seal out so it should stay nice and dry now.

Detailed Shadow ready for the Tatton Park classic car show tomorrow. Quite looking forward to this one.
A happy 5 hours polishing the TF listening to the cricket and pleased with the results.

Also gave me a chance to test out my cordless jetwash I treated myself to. Awesome bit of kit, no extension lead or hosepipe required!
