Advice on replacing 135 thermostat please.

Well AP..if I had known you had a stat..and even better if you had known..😁...I would have gladly bought it.
Has it happens I bought the housing complete which should be here tomorrow on day 10 of its journey!

I’ve one of those also, although it’s isn’t as handy as the element.
I’d have gladly posted both out & for the square root of bugger all + post.

I ordered some oil so that I could flush the cream out of R40 before the head gasket is done. 
I ordered on Friday and the ad said arriving Sunday..
When I received the email confirmation. 
Yes it is arriving on Sunday ...January 10th 2027.

Any further forward after contacting the Bay? I've been waiting a few days now for a couple of packages via the Bay, I was told the delay is due to a major incident .. but no explanation as to what the major incident is.
Probably just down to the heat wave, or even the hose pipe ban.

Long story short it is supposed to be out for delivery today.
The Seller tracked it but I was not given any tracking details when posted.
I hope it is because I want it running!

Mine is overdue via EVRI, the reason for the delay is "a major event" which turns out to be according to EVRI don't laugh, the heat wave!! So I was right after all. FFS.

Well first things first..I owe Evri an apology. I assumed wrongly.
It was posted by the Seller on the 29th June and finally arrived today at 3.30 by Royal Mail with a postmark of 29th June!
Where the hell it had been is anybodys guess..maybe as Glyn says it was hiding in a cool corner.
Anyway..it is all back together and running very sweetly. The tickover is solid and the odd stumble has gone. Could have been the wee tear in the inlet manifold but who knows.
Seems to be watertight and doesn't overheat so I will road test it tomorrow and then drain it down again and flush before I add antifreeze.
Finally back on the road and I can tidy my garage up.
