NOTE
When I checked my new hose there was a big blob of glue almost totally closing the small hole in the aforementioned restrictor. :omg:
I removed it before fitting the hose. Worth a quick check. :yesnod:

David,

I've gone with a Mikalor 29 - 31 mm clamp (W2) tightened carefully. I don't think a cable tie would do much given the evident pressure generated.

Hopefully I've not transferred the stress elsewhere. Not 100% happy with the vulcanising on one side of the joint although it has an inspection stamp and is probably (!) just surface pitting.



It will be some time before I can fit this.
