Fees I'd imagine. Gifts are free though. Unfortunately, this is quite a pricey item. New or otherwise. .. ouch! who hit me with a bat?

Well this was my thinking, if it was fees then simply click to send as a gift. My tiny brain cannot understand the reasoning why it cannot be used. Something to do with it 'not being straightforward with something where there are no goods being posted out.'

And I'm not having a go at John so please don't stone me to death. :(

I've been told not to use PayPal, yes the fees are relatively expensive, but because no goods are being posted, a loop hole means that a full refund could be claimed directly from PayPal. (At least that's what I'm told). As for warranty, I've already said, this car is a BRAND NEW MG and will come complete with MG's 3 year/60,000 miles warranty.
I've just posted on mg-rover.org that I can understand why some would not want to use card, but Summit Garage (Dudley) Ltd is fully compliant with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) through Lloyds TSB Cardnet and if there is anyone who's not sure, then call 01384 259555 (option 4) and ask for me and I'll process your details personally. 546 entries so far and not one person had a problem!

The SV-R in the avatar is not for sale, generally they fetch between £35,000-£40,000 though LH Drive ones fetch more. I won't be offering it as a competition prize-too many people would worry about the cambelt or the tyres :)!

Or its classic car status when the draw was eventually made. :woohoo:

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
