Does anyone know where you can buy a replacement aerial cable for an MGF ?

Rimmer Bros used to sell them but they are no longer available. Mine has clearly cracked and the reception is breaking up or weak at best.

Would like to buy one but can’t find one anywhere…just need the cable not the aerial mount.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

My guess is it'll be RG58 50ohm coax which was everywhere during those vibrant days of CB. The amateur radio boys will be along soon & they'll correct me if I'm wrong, plus the will know where to find some. G8XXX used to use a length to hold his pants up, with a PL259 on each end & a SO239 coupler as the buckle!

I would recommend contacting the MGF Centre. They have a large inventory of second hand parts.

Either MGF Centre or MGFnTFBitz.

Definitely a part that would be easier to get hold of 2nd hand plus no downside to doing so.
