Cloudy soft top window 6 years 11 months ago #177781

Hi All,

I am new to this page & I was recommended by my dad to join as there is some useful info on here!

So anyway, I have had my mg tf for a year now but his window in the soft top has gone cloudy.... does anyone know what product I can use to get rid of this and make it clear again? ☺️

Many thanks

Hi miss loopy Lou
You can use auto glym super resin polish. I have on mine and it works a treat.
You do have to unzip the screen out so you can get to both sides. Just make sure you place a towel over the boot lid to prevent any scratches from the zips etc.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Steve

Invalid or non-existent item ID. Greygate plastic polish works well. It seems expensive for a small bottle but you really do need very small amounts.

Amazing ! Thank you both, for the tips - I will try and buy one of these products to sort it out ????
Do I need to use a particular type of cloth or does anything just do the job?
Many thanks
Lucy

Microfibre cloths work well but any soft cloth would do. One to put on, one to buff off.

I used this stuff having seen something on YouTube. With a bit of elbow grease and a microfibre cloth, it came up a treat!
