Hi a good way through this project now , some bruises on arms and some knuckle skin left on cylinder head.... but as I was looking around at a couple of mgf today I noticed mileage on them was low for same year as mine , mine is an x plate 2001 and has 143k miles on clock I guess it's a high miler If I may ask what's the mileage on some of the cars on this forum just wondered if this old lady is the highest ? Still drives well and since my engine overhaul pulls very well.

Mine is a 2001 and has 92k on the clock. But mileage isn't every thing, as long as the car has been looked after and serviced properly then the engines should last.

Mine is a 1999 with 72k miles.

99 MK-2 with 57000 miles 143000 miles is the highest I know off on the road

I've no history with car other than mot and doing check on the past five years mot stats on line the mileage looks genuine so it's a high miler judging by the comparative low mileage given in thread. It's silver in colour just now but as my brother owns a vinyl wrapping and sign company it's getting a full wrap for the summer final pics will follow once that's done .... let's just say colour will not be the norm with the wrap giving car a new street look.

1998 1.8MPi - about 106,000
2004 1.6 TF - about 54,000

Mine is 2002 TF 135 with 82000 miles. A Mike Satur modified head was fitted at about 62000
