Cat trouble!!! 11 years 1 month ago #113424

here's our cat Simba in a cat trap, he weighs well over a stone and sat in the smallest possible box

Some packing tape and a stamp and your problem is solved. :broon:

hmmm I would need a bigger box for the very angry wife as well if I did that :P

problem i have is that every time the cat gets on it and i see it ... it shoots off as soon as the window or door opens, so can never catch the bloody thing

I share your pain.

I don't have any cats but (unfortunately) all of my neighbours do, I am constantly finding these things on my roof and also scratching my bonnet.

Whilst I wouldn't mind trying the water spray trick the problem is the cats run miles when I get within a couple of meters.

My cat doesn't care if I wet him, I already tried it ha ha ha! The cat trap is a good idea until it rains and my wife wound kill me for putting holes in him with the 7.62 rounds of an AK47 }:o> I like the rubber glove idea and I'll try some repellant spray.

Apparently they don't like citrus smells so try spraying the roof with something lemon scented.

Maybe fasten one of David's Rottweilers to the boot lid?
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

We had the same problem not so long ago with next doors cats using the big black heat attracting soft top hammock, but a quick blast with the hose pipe got rid of them for a while...then we built a garage and no more cat problems. :broon:

You'll need to get a remote bonnet release for this solution:

Sometimes you wish you had a roof with a powered sunroof:
"Keep calm, relax, focus on the problem & PULL THE BLOODY TRIGGER"

don't spray anything on your roof that actually contains lemon juice though...it bleaches in sunlight so could well leave your roof looking rather mottled...although you could always cover the patches up with cathair if you know a friendly moggy :coat:

This girl doesn't mind getting her hands dirty !!!
