when MOT is due, i dread sending her to the MOT place...
expecting to need a new exhaust/back box as my TT is at about 108Db now, and i think i have blown all the packing out of it as well as the cat, so emissions fail is likely...
seem to be losing coolant (200ml every month) and oil (about 300ml every month) so possible HGF (AGAIN!)...
Russel only did it about 2 years ago (20,000 miles), and i had a new Head which was ported and polished with big cams etc. as well as cam belt / water pump...
had a weird issue this morning when i put my foot down joining A3 (trying to avoid a lorry), was doing about 40, booted it (in auto mode) so about 4000rpm, and water went from about 85C down to about 50C then slowly back up... guess it was the bypass opening but never good for the head
also think i need to change my CVT fluid, anyone any ideas where to get this now days? (i know its the same as the BWM Mini auto CVT's)
just hoping i dont end up with a 1k bill for the car just to pass the freaking MOT...
also probably need 2 new rears as my R1Rs are nearly down to the markers, luckilly have another set spare that i can just swap on...
finally need a new seal round the hood, as since i had to swap the passengers door after my wife revesed into it, the new door window glass doesnt quite reach the seal and theres a small air gap...
it never rains...
