What is the consensus on these bushes? 13 years 3 weeks ago #23087

Invalid or non-existent item ID.Hi All - what do we think of this bush kit? I am tempted to get it as I will be rebuilding a subframe for Meg over the next few months and doing all the bushes too.... They come in various colours - quite fancy red myself! Has it got EVERYTHING I would need to replace all the bushes?

I don't know if there is a difference in quality between different brands.
That set is half the price of some others. I can't help but wonder why.
I'm no chemical engineer so have no way of knowing if they are a great deal or not.???

I always understood that the different colour bushes were different grades.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

MG - the friendly marque.

I am going to buzz the bush guys when I get back from Munich to talk about club discounts and advertising - they seem keen.

I think all their bushes are the same 'stiffness' as they do a standard un-coloured one (white so looks kinda cool) and then just colour the base material for effect to make the other colours. Will double check though!

I thought the colour depended on who was making them, Probush are Blue, i have an Autobush set that is Red and some others are Yellow. They should also supply special grease and stainless steel liners for putting them in. That is a very good price on eBay for a full set i paid £40 for the fronts for my F from Autobush, excludes the drop links on the front. You can get poly bushes from B&G and Rimmers for the Shocks think they are about £45 for the set ~ or you can do a David DIY job!! :woohoo:
