Hi there,
there is one other area that can cause this effect ,PeKtron SCU relays beginning to fail
there are 2 --Central Locking and Superlocking
Central Locking mainly affects the driverside as it has an extra microswitch inside the lock
Superlockling is the deadliest as it can deadlock any side , the worst being the passenger side as there is no keylock access and you cant get the door pin up by hand. I got around this once by removing the seats to get to the passenger door card which then has to be removed whilst the door is closed , it is achievable without damage then the doorlock can be dissembled , but the problem was with the superlock SCU relay not the doorlock.
