That is most helpful thank you. Based on the list of fault codes I would not have thought that this particular car would have some of those features.
For example
As it doesn’t have a turbo why would it show boost pressure, or with no air con why show condenser fan unless that is another term for the general ventilation fan.
I will try and clear them and see what happens.

From another test it tells me that the VIN reference is as shown on the V5 , at least that is encouraging.

Thank you suggesting clearing the fault codes. That left two codes P1539 power to A/C and P500 vehicle speed sensor malfunction. I did that and took the car for a short run and on my return checked the situation. No additional codes other than the two which had shown after clearing faults that I believe or suspect do not relate to this vehicle.
The speedometer and trip function as they should. And if speed didn’t function as it should fuel would not be injected as it should which it does.

If I’m wrong I’d be interested to know why.

as others have said, at the time of writing, you are already on 043C so you have already updated to the latest version.

To update pscan it is always the same process.

Simply connect to the internet and run the program.  You do not need to have the interface or a car to do this.  One of three things will happen:-
If you are already on the latest version then it will just run the program.
If you are on a relatively recent version it will offer you an upgrade and you can answer "yes" or "no".
If you are on a really ancient version it might just update itself whether you like it or not.
