When I worked for Rover in the corporate rental arm my favourite car was the 623GSi - it's lovely to drive, powerful, looks very classy (even better than the Accord it's based on), and is reliable to boot!
A 07 Plate Vectra 1.8 SRI on paper its got more horseys than the MGTF. In reality its like pulling an elephant with a unicycle. Thought it was fast until drove something faster. Its more refined driving and goes the job that we need it for.
MGTF will be replaced by Zafira when next lot of jobs are complete on it. Currently spraying, then onto badge fitting and exhaust tick fix part deux.
My daily is a mk2 ZS180 saloon.
I also have a mk1 that was my previous daily but is now being broken.
My wife has a mk1 ZR160 5 door that she uses about once a month.
Then my daughter has a Rover 100 that is used all the time, day and night.
Finally there is my project, another MG but this time it's an eighties version with a nineties twist,
a T16 maestro.
Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC andred MG Maestro T16.
My other car is a '10 plate Vauxhall Insignia sports tourer sri....2.0 cdti auto....and it's bloody superb, the wife's got the saloon version in black, manual.
My other "car" is a 1998 Defender 90 CSW....one of the last 300tdi's..converted to auto which we use to cart the doggies around in...absolutely unbeatable..can drive anywhere in any weather...Amanda also has a black Fiat 500 which she uses for teaching which occasionally goes places it shouldn't!
