I fitted the Satur brace as I still have the box type air intake and I think that it's a good piece of kit.
The snorkel upgrade is still in the jobs to be done list

Back in the dark distant past,I seem to recall that someone posted some drawings, in some thread,to fabricate your own.
Maybe use the search feature of this site, to track this down!

Mike this is the setup i have i believe i'll need the snorkel if i can find one i looked on Bitz and they only have new at £50 and ebay 2nd hand people still want upwards of £25 maybe someone on here has a snorkel setup they'd be willing to sell, i'll put a wanted post up, the brace is cheaper on Bitz and looks so much easier to fit with no drilling etc so will be looking at getting that one. many thanks for pointing me in the right direction

Its worth a call or email to Darren as he often has some stuff that doesnt make it to the website.

The old airbox has to be cut up to remove it - or at least thats the quickest way.

Its worth using a layer of neoprene foam or similar under the snorkel. The front of the snorkel is held nice and flat by the servo brace but the plastic at the back can be a bit 'wavy' between the bolt heads. I used a strip of metal along the back of the snorkel to keep it flat.

The wide plastic cowling clips to the snorkel in a similar way as it does to the current large airbox, so it stays looking equally standard.

Alec, I am returned, hot foot from collecting a brake servo etc from MGtastic in Oldham. They have a snorkel available at £20. Obviously it you were to pop in & see the lads with £20 in your hand you would be walking away with it under your arm.
It has to be remembered that posting an object like that is costly & so I advise you to ring them to resolve a price.
I didn’t ask about a brace, they were busy.
Interestingly enough there is no phone number on the paperwork. Google them, the number will be on the internet; everything else is.

My car is the same as Alecs and I will be fitting a servo brace too.
Has anyone got a pic of one fitted using a snorkel?
I am a bit lost...
