I have just changed the oil and filter on my 2008 TF LE-500. The Gunson Rover/MG service light reset tool does not reset the Oil Service Overdue message on the dash. Does anyone know how to do it?

Not 100% certain but I think the pscan tool can reset the LE500 service indicator.

Yes it does, I have p-scan and SAIC MG TF135 and have reset the service light. Dedicated entry on menu, just click reset.

My vehicle does not have a service light. It has a message displayed for 10 seconds after ignition is switched on showing OIL SERVICE OVERDUE. Are we talking about the same thing?

Yes , Thats the one. Starts at 15,000 miles and counts down to service due. Comes on as part of start up cycle on centre display.
