Exhaust brackets and rubbers 5 years 2 months ago #189559

purchased OE exhaust hanger brackets and rubbers as the original rubber had perished and the exhaust was hanging low on the near side.
However, I notice that the rubbers do not sit well in the brackets!
Any body else noticed this?

Yep. I did the same job last weekend and discovered the same thing you are seeing, that the rubber does fit to the bracket.

I guess they'll fit if bolted to the subframe.

I should have said that the rubber does not fit closely to the bracket. (I don't seem to be able to edit my original post)

Mark, do you not have a blue EDIT button below your post?

I do until someone adds another post and then the edit button vanishes.

Yes I've made mistakes in a post a few times and when I've tried to edit...I to noticed if someone else posted it would stop any editing of the post and have to repost with a explanation
