Narrr then folks...

Hows it all going? Not been in a MG for a few year now, but busy with other projects, dadlife and driving a less enjoyable car than my TF.

But... My current wagon is deciding to fall out with me.

Its turning into a 'sharrabang' (scrap car / keep it going / if it breaks it doesnt matter)

I've had the passenger door handle not work from the outside.
Using a bit more oil than normal.
Alarm fob doesnt wanna know anymore so using a vintage key in the door style to get in and out of the thing

Today was a fun experience.

Took the kids to some party (there 3 now!)

Reversed into a parking space, wife opened the boot all was fine.

Then tried to close the boot, also fine.

Until.... BANG! / CRUNCH

The interior panel bit that normally lives inside your boot protecting all the gubbins decided to not enjoy being closed down hard on a metal bollard thing in the parking space so fell out on the floor.

It now is a 'feature' in my car boor.

A trip to the scrap yard is now needed.

On a plus side, just started a new job, nursery fees are nearly done with and I work closer to home.

MG Folk... Keep on MG-ing

Hi Ben

Does the nursery fee situation mean another MG plaything is on the cards?

Some projects have happened.

Breaking Bad / Loft project

Shedmageddon.

Operation - we need more space for twins...

So MG gone, garage gone but loving life at the moment.
New job, a bit more money on the last assignment of my MSc and a leadership and management / cert ed in the pipeline. I'm on the road to better things.

Next car news will be part ex the vectra for a newer people carrier / estate.

My alhambra will be driven into the ground or i'll see what to do at MOT time in march.

Really fancy a saab 95 estate.

Really fancy a saab 95 estate.

Why? All GM Saabs are nothing but Vauxhalls in drag!
You may as well hang onto the Vectra.

Here's a better idea that still keeps you in the fold

I could pick up one of these for not a lot of money Cobbler but i'm not really improving my situation.

I'll see what happens at MOT time then take it from there.

Vectra needs a few quid spending on it, but never let me down yet apart from a split hose and burning oil a bit.

Nice job on the garage conversion. The brick work looks OEM. I agree with Cobber about the ZT-T. Several friends have the diesel version and really like the car although the dual mass flywheel can be a bit head gasket like.
