Got Russell booked in for the gasket repair in a couple of weeks.

Who's used him on here?

Yes I have. Can't fault the guy. He knows the K series engine like no-one else.
I wouldn't trust anyone else with my TF engine.

He did my 160's gasket just before Christmas.It took him and his son less than 3 hours.

They did a great job and are nice chaps,we had a good chat all through the proccess.He didn't mind me watching and breathing down his neck the whole job.

I'm still waiting for my receipt but apart from his dodgy secretarial skills I cannot fault his work,my TF is spot on.

If I need any major work doing it's a no brainer for me I'll just call Russell.

The head checked out fine it didn't overheat on my car(not in my short ownership)but I believe he carries a ready to go head if yours is warped.

All I supplied was brews and biscuits, he'd been to Maggy's in the morning so he was full of bacon butties.He carries all sundries, fluilds and parts you need.

The man is a genuine legend. Definitely one of the good guys!

I agree with what everyone says , i had him to change my cambelt water pump spark plugs all the fillters and oil , he is brilliant at what he does , top man.

May not know any french? Matter is in a way he speaks well K-engine!
Hard to know where is he located (my car is still running & can be driven to his home)????????

I would enjoy a 2 weeks holiday giving him the car or any friendly garage in his area, just to have time to get heavy parts that could not be shipped.
Once the engine is reliabilized, I plan to recon my brakes 304mm discs & rear + rear calipers
Could be grooved-slotted ones
Any cheaper than:

May only require the rear grooved?
& also,
Whenever a clever welding of steel patches for my front lower wishbones available? - avoiding their replacement in case all bushes are fine.......... I'm a customer.
+ some worn bits too.

In need of a genuine mechanic, not only of the head leak fixing!
1- My VVC 160 oil cooler circuit has to be checked...
Also complete coolant circuit & hoses, PRT!

2- Braking requires:
rear calipers (one with handbrake issue, second with poor piston action)
front discs with seized bolts...

3- Clever welding of front lower wishbones, without swap (using wet clothes to protect the near bushes)..
A help to get my fuel gauge working (might have stuck while on my working selfmade ramp).

Actually Russell is based near Sevenoaks in Kent.
He doesn't do welding as far as I know.
