Invalid or non-existent item ID.Hi everyone,

We now have our TF (and will post pictures once we've taken some), but have noticed an instant improvement is needed.

Travelling along today we realised the quite desperate need of a windstop. On our old F we had a perspex one that was bolted onto the T-bar but have seen ones on ebay that attach using the Tonneau cover screws, such as;

Does anybody have any experience of these? I'm a little dubious as they seem cheaper than the others whilst being easier to fit.

Thanks,
Ian and Soph

They are cheap and cheerful, they do the job but tend to crack or break around the fixings. OK if you don't want to do more than 50 with the top down.:shrug:

Thanks David,

I'll hold off and look into better options.

Best to get a mesh one - it helps but still allows slight air flow.

I had one of these. 90 with the windows up. Up to 70mph with them down recommended. The trick is to tighten them up and then undo the 3 screws a quarter of a turn. That allows them to flex at the mountings instead of cracking. I liked mine, for what it cost. Cheap and cheerful. :yesnod:

Hi Plezier,

We'll gladly take it off your hands if you don't want it any more, how much do you want for it?

Cheers,
Ian
