The work you have done on the LE500 will equally apply to other MG Motors UK (Chinese) TFs I think Philip....the LE500 isn't unique from the others in that regard...although all are different to a degree from the pre-2006 MGR TFs...

Thanks for the update. :broon:
I suspect Kickstarter probably do as the banks do and have a little play with the money before they pass it on. It would be a nice little earner for them!

I got live data working on the EMS2000.

This I like

Lastly I still haven't received the funds from Kickstarter but I think that that's normal.

These I don't like.

Just had an update by email:

I have some good news.
We have received some very generous help which has dramatically improved many of the protocols that we support. Some of the ECUs which needed (sometimes) a minute or two to initialise now work almost instantly.
We also managed to incorporate an improvement in the CanBUS circuitry into the first production run.
Additionally today the Jatco automatic transmission protocol on a Freelander was finished and tested. We are hopeful that this will also work on a Rover 75/ZT but don't have access to a Rover 75/ZT automatic to test it on.
Today we found out that the code for MEMS3 can be a little unreliable. It works perfectly on the MEMS3 that we have but on a friends Rover 45 it doesn't always initialise first time. We suspect that this is simply a timing issue and hope to fix this before hardware starts to arrive.

Just had this:

Project Update #9: September 1st week update.
For backers only Posted by pscan.eu LTD ♥ Like

It is a little while since we posted an update, and our delivery deadline is approaching so it's time for an update.
The cases have arrived.
The USB cables have arrived.
Labels are imminent.
The OBD cables were supposed to arrive this week but have not. We will have to chase the supplier on Monday.
The PCBs were supposed to arrive this week but the supplier made a mistake with their scheduling. Apparently we confused them by paying the invoice too quickly.... They say that we will have them next week i.e. by the 12th.
The support subforum is now up and running at http://www.rovertech.net/forum/
If you don't already have an account on rovertech it is probably a good idea to go and get one now.
Thank you for your support, Philip

So looks like we are almost there! WOOHOO

Very cool... now I need my laptop back or a VERY long USB lead lol

Wonder if it will work on my GEMS Rangie? After all GEMS and MEMS are so similar they both use T4......
