For those that don't venture onto other forums..

For ages I've wanted to loose the stalks and fit all the required buttons onto the wheel.. Why? Dunno.. Just my desire..

I looked and looked but couldn't find a wheel with enough buttons..

So did my own home brew solution

Buttons now do indicators, main beam flash, single wipe, washer jets, cruise control, shift lights on/off

I'm fitting auto head lights and auto wipers.. With manual overide on dash for MOT etc

The indicators ain't self cancelling anymore so fitted a motorbike module to get round that..

Also fitted an EPAS kill switch to turn power steering off

Along the top are sequential shift lights

Not everyone's cuppa I know.. But I love it

Shift lights are switchable for obvious reason

Small LEDs are 5mm. Big one 10mm

There are a growing number of stalkless new cars..

Ferrari's, atom, Radical SR3 etc..

If I don't like if in the future I can always refit the stalks

Good on you for trying new things, but I think I prefer the stalks.

just thinking back, the Citroen BX went from non cancelling indicators switched on the dash, and slider controls for lights/wipers around about 1985, to conventional stalks by 1988 and the end of line models. (also the hydrolastic fun suspension) :yesnod:
having had both around that time, you did get used to it. :woo2:
