GAZ adjustables bush HELP 10 years 10 months ago #122254

Hi all just bought myself a pair of GAZ gas adjustables for the rear end of my 97 F (secondhand) & the bottom bush has gone on 1 of them so need to replace it was wondering if anyone could help if they knew what would fit them as there is no part number to go by,i know the inner hole size is roughly 24-25mm as for other messurement's don't have them to hand sorry ,polybush if pos :bang:

You need a pair of these.

1 per shock.

as far as i know mate these are to big due to the GAZ bush being smaller than the standard mgf shock will check & thanks for the input

Exactly Keith!
I discovered the variation in bush size a couple of weeks ago.
I have a set of Gaz shocks on my car and a useless set of stock size
polybushes in the shed. :slapme:

Yes you can see here the smaller bush size.

I would contact Gaz directly .

Just tried calling GAZ no answer so assume there not open this afternoon so sent them an email so fingers crossed they can help if not point me in the right direction of some poly bushes

Unfortunately it's not just a matter of putting the polybushes in a lathe and turning them down. The stainless sleeve that comes with the polybushes is quite thick and wouldn't leave much room for poly in the smaller Gaz shock eyes. Replacement sleeves would have to be thinner to give a reasonable amount of space for the bushings.
