Well I have just had one of those embarrassing moments. Hood down, side windows down, enjoying the unusual weather. Then decided to give the front screen a good wash wipe. Yep most of the water came around the side and onto me.
Now own up folks how many of you have forgotten about this problem ?

Cheers for that Eagle. That's something I have not tried. I haven't driven the car hood down for any distance. Must take note and remember. :yesnod:

On a similar theme..........I seem to remember that I have read that with the hood down in the rain as long as you travel at 50mph+ no water gets into the cabin...........is this true? :dunno:

With all the road works on our motorways its almost impossible to hold 50MPH+ on any road during a rain storm. So that theory is hard to prove.

Yeah, as above. It is true that most if not all of the rain goes over the top over 50mph - until you get to the traffic lights/roadworks/slow caravan etc. then you get soaked!:yesnod:

Believe it, it's true :yesnod: ...unless it's chucking it down when I get in, I always travel with the roof down!!

David will be witness to the fact that I happily drove up the M6 and across the A69 in the rain with the roof down and didn't get wet at all!! :sunshine:

This girl doesn't mind getting her hands dirty !!!

I will really have to try topless in the rain. :yesnod: If only to see all the strange looks from other drivers in "Normal" cars! But I hope I don't get the opportunity for a little while.:shake:
What we need this weekend is :sunshine::sunshine::sunshine:

I do this often, it's that moment where you see the water hit the windscreen after pulling the lever and thinking.. 'oh crap..' *splash*
