Well a mate dropped by today and took me to the supermarket, I only managed to collide with 2 people! I'm not safe with a bloody supermarket trolley let alone drive a damned car!
This not being able to see where you're going caper has whiskers on it!
Lesley is paranoid I'm going to jump in the car and try and drive somewhere.......nothing could be a less likely scenario, the one thing I'm not going to do is try and drive when I can't see properly...........the thought of trying to drive a car when I can't see where I going is a bloody terrifying prospect!
I couldn't drive a greasy peg up a dog's arse!.............Mind you, I can't quite imagine why anybody would want to....least of all the poor bloody dog in question! Poor ol'e Fido!
Might have to get a scalextric set........that looks like it might be the full extent of my capabilities these days!

That's our old grizzly Cobber coming back! You just needed a kick up the arse.
I'm a danger with a shopping trolley and I can see so don't feel bad about knocking a few people over.
Hang in there Cobber..😉

I couldn't agree more and I love the phrase about a greasy peg and a dogs ass.

Oh my word !  This is terrible news to read. Cobber , I thought all you Castlemaine 4X Aussie didgeridooers were bullet proof !  I have over the last 7 months also had a bit of a health reality check , and at 73 it gives you a mighty jolt in the gonadds .  Its early days for you mate but, I am always amazed at the powers of recovery that the human body has. Its just that as we get older it takes us longer to bounce back from stuff.
Keep that banging Aussie humour coming to the forum and don't give up.
Regards John .

It's only Queenslanders that drink XXXX no one else here would touch the filthy foul muck with a bloody barge pole!
The reason they call it XXXX is that no bastard in Queensland can spell beer!
The rest of us call it barbed wire, because it's as about as difficult to swallow!

Thought it was “Fosters” down under and sometime referred to as VOODOO Jaza or something like that when served in a goldfish bowl.
