With applied ingenuity you can adapt sun visors from a number of cars. At one time a BMW two seater was favourite, I bought a pair before the craze & got a couple for less than £30. People lost interest when they topped £75. An adapter plate was needed but these were the days before 3D printing, hacksaw, file & a little sweat; a half hour job.
A chap advertised 3D jobbied for these on eBay, that took the ingenuity out of the equation.
You have to watch what your doing with the latches though.
Oh, welcome aboard.

There was another dodge that involve Alfa Spider sun visors but they're probably hard to find now than ours!

many thanks for the welcome and i've been looking at the z3 visors, can get them for around £25 and i have found a .stl file to print the adaptors to make them a straight fit, i know originality is key but sometimes you have to make changes for comfort lol

To some originality is all important, as for me I say bollocks. My car lives in the old cart shed, I wouldn’t return to horse & cart for originality, I like a button to press to proceed a journey, I don’t know whether you’ve tacked up a horse to pull a cart but I’ll be on my way back before you get the animal in the shafts.
No I’ll massage my car to make it as easy as I can in use.
If it were a Frazer Nash then that argument doesn’t hold water but a car with Z3 sun visors isn’t going to depreciate values by a mats appendage.
Anyway you get on with it, if you’ve sorted out the Z3 visors & the printed adapter you’ve the right outlook & you get my vote.
