well everything was fine heading down the M6 today.......dry roads, clear skies, roof down and new hat on

came off the M6 and stopped at the lights, an Astra in the wrong lane nipped in front as the lights changed so as you do i thought i'm not having that everything was going fine 1st, 2nd, 3rd nope it aint coming out of 3rd luckily 3rd was more than enough to do the job but it leaves me with another job to do tomorrow

after a quick look underneath it looks like part number UYC10006 (who's going to find out what first??) has fallen off and caused it to stick in 3rd gear

I keep meaning to put a wire tie on mine for insurance.

If fitting a new one, it's worth trying to put it in upside down. ie with the opening downwards.

That reminds me - I've still got the 'emergency' modified pool table leg plate doing that job on mine. The car's done 3k miles since that 'short term' fix
