My wife and I did a bus tour of Scotland in 2023, which included the NC500 and a stop at the Altnaharra Hotel for Tea, what a lovely spot. Your picture brought back lovely memories.

Some pics of the road edge. You have to pull over but don't run along the edge and wait for a smooth part to pull back on to the road.

If the roads weren't so busy you could have fun in a sports car...😁

I really enjoyed reading this.
A good road trip in a F or TF is what makes these little cars so much fun.
Thank you for a cracking write up.

Thank you!
I appreciate you reading it.
The weather has turned today so it's a bit dreech as they say up here.

I get the Muntjac Deer in my garden pretty frequently and they eat almost everything including roses, that's one of the reasons along with medical issues that I don't do a lot of gardening now. But its nice to see them especially when they bring their young.

I remember my first encounter with a Muntjac, I wondered what the hell it was! So tiny.
He is in the process of deer fencing the garden because when a dozen stags come in they scratch the cars and RV.
Very expensive to do even though he can do it himself.

Well some bad news.
Flushed the coolant system this morning and refilled only to find a tiny bit of mayonaise on the dipstick..the cap is clear.
Looks like the HG has gone. It has a small stutter on tick over which is why I cleaned those sensors.
Oh well..heading back later as the weather is bad here for outside work.
Wish me luck!

Did you put those new coil packs on or? Because the TF I recently bought had a bit of mayo on the cap and the thing was missing a beat and I automatically thought HG, but my young son said he thought it was a coil pack so purchased new fitted them and missing had gone used the car quite a lot and no loss of fluid and no mayo at the moment. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. G.
