hello folks
i have a 2005 TF 1.6 since new but for various reasons been under cover in garage last 5 years. really suprised put new battery on and it started first time.
Now the restoration begins

well done a bit of work on her and sent her to steads MG dealer in sheffield for a good going over and MOT. could not be happier as she PASSED

Well done that man,  that's great . My TF is getting taxed tomorrow morning after hibernation , just in time for the weather to go pear shaped !  Hope it starts up like yours did

That's good news but I'm surprised Steads were interested, in my experience MG Motors are not interested in pre 2006 cars.
This is why the independent mobile specialists are so popular.
