Just joined your forum wonder if you can help. I am restoring an early trophy. I have been looking at the tech advice. I have to replace the hydrolastic pipes, but I noticed that there is a valve that can be fitted to the displacer replacing the pipe. Has anyone used this mod? How does it affect the handling etc?

You can do it essentially making them all independent. However the spheres were designed to transfer fluid between themselves to 'level things out' and I personally think the system is best left as it was designed. It had been used since the 60's in this form and worked very well. Which puppies need replacing?

Not using dogs now are they
