Hello to all :)
Hello All,
From Peterborough just purchased my first MG Trophy, would describe it as a rolling project. So excited to get going and make it the best I possibly can whilst having a whole load of fun

That's a Beenana if ever I saw one & it looks fun packed. Well done, a 160 f is a machine to be proud of, there's effort to be put in but those are investments that will return dividends, in fun if not fiscally.
Cobber will post his advice sheet shortly, I'm sure & you are unlikely to find a document that will better ease you into ownership than this, lets call it the small print you wished you had read at the outset, when things go adrift further down the line..

Welcome to the Forum!
You have come to the right place for all things F and TF.
I wanted a yellow Trophy too but never found one up here in Aberdeen so settled for a 135. As you are finding they are great cars to have fun with!
Good luck with the rust repairs. You may even be able to find s/h panels.
Keep us informed of your progress.

Welcome.
This is definitely the right place. Many of the regular's Fs & TFs are a rolling projects in one way or another. What jobs have you got lined up for it ?
The lettering on the number plate may need some attention before it's used on the road

As has been suggested by AP here is the checklist for new owners/members: https://www.the-t-bar.com/forum/54-how-tos/99326-a-check-list-for-new-owners
Have a read and you''ll get a few clues on how to get the best outta both your car and this place!

Welcome
always loved the Yellow Trophys.
If you want some good reading I can highly reccomend Roger Parkers MGF and TF Restoration Manual Book. Gives you a great insight and is really useful when tackling some of the most common MGF items. Also the How to seciton here is a wealth of knowledge too so check that out.

Welcome to the Forum from mee too.
figo's suggestion of Roger Parkers MGF and TF Restoration Manual Book gets my vote too. Great bedtime reading! LOTS of helpful pictures. This Forum has more up-to-date information (sometimes!) but those books are very reliable information and I have found them VERY useful.
