VVC thresholds are higher. and yes the fan rarely kicks in. Only when the engine is under load (ie up a hill going hard unless you are in places like New Mexico.....) and ambient temp in the engine compartment is high.

The best way of ascertaining whether the fan comes on is using PScan live and logging the data. Makes interesting reading and you realise then that the engine fan is hardly used.
