Ideally I want to completely refresh the underside but not at the stage of pulling the subframes. I have done a number of bits that needed doing already. One thing I want to do next year is the rear trailing arms as they are very rusted (safe, just adjustment is a pain) but that will need a complete realignment.
I was just after anything else I could refresh without the need to realign. I have done brakes and hoses, front drop links.
Prolly a stupid question, it was late (sober) ignore me
Been in and accessed the engine again today! its always a pain removing and refitting the sound proofing and top plastic/fabric sheet.
The more I do it the more of a jigsaw I end with as bits fall off.
Question should the top plastic/fabric layer be attached to the sound proofing? Its half attached so I cant work out if it is supposed to be separate and has stuck together over time, or its supposed to be stuck but has separated over time.
Today I re installed the reverse light switch. I did it a few weeks ago but it turns out it was on all the time. Took it out and the switch is real sensitive. Re installed it with teh new and old washer and now its working!
