I have just connected my Pscan and it is showing a Message "computer not registered" when I click to register it asks me to remove a computer but one is the computer I am using "Toughbook", I am reluctant to remove it as it says it cant be registered again.
I have used this computer many times and I haven't had a problem before can you help please?

Yes I can help.

Are you saying that a computer that you have previously registered is now not registered?

Please run the software and when it asks you to register click on "No".

Then in the top ECU selection window below "Petrol engine" and "Diesel engine" there is a third item called "License". Select that.
Now in the bottom window there will appear "Status" and "License debug".
Select License debug.

Then copy all of the text and paste it in a reply here, an IM or an email.

I can use those numbers to figure out what has happened.

I had same problem cannot do anything with it. not download..on a dell laptop

Also. If a PC is not registered, or cannot be registered, or has been previously unregistered, then it will still work as an EOBD scanner.

Not being able to download sounds like a different problem to me.

I will solve Manwithamini's problem first and then come back to you if you don't mind. If you have bought a pscan and can't use it then that needs to be fixed.

Hypothetically, if I needed you to get your Toughbook connected to the Internet and also to your pscan interface at the same time, with the pscan powered up (green light flashed) would it be possible to do that?

I guess you would need to get a car near to a WiFi hotspot or something.

I could connect the Pscan to the toughbook and internet using a battery and the Mems 1.6 cable if that helps
