Does the slave cylinder sit on top of this bracket with the pipe in view being its feed? (2004 TF).

Step one in a leak elimination process. If this is the slave it isn't leaking........

You are correct. If you look at the top RH corner you can just see the clevis pin attached to the release arm.

Why did you think it was leaking?

There is a leak to the nearside rear of the engine, dripping off the gearchange selector area. It looked too thin to be engine oil and the gearbox oil seals (replaced 2 years ago) are clean and leak free.

Any other likely leaks in this area?

Get some of theive the offending oil on your finger and give it a good sniff, if its gear oil it should smell worse than a pole cat's arse!
Its up to you if you need to get a pole cat's arse onto your finger for comparison purposes!
I for one am happy to imagine that they don't smell good.
You should be able to smell gear oil, even if you're like me and have had your sense of smell largely destroyed by an industrial accident (chlorine gas spill)
