Fog Lamp surrounds 5 years 9 months ago #187113

Hi All,

I have fog lamps fitted to my MGF Wedgewood but only have a black plastic surround for the near side one. Offside one missing.
I am told that these surrounds are now obsolete and unobtainable.
I have seen the Trophy front spoiler with built in fog lamp surrounds but with purchase, spray and fitting costs it'd probably be the best part of £250
How have other people got round this problem ??
Does anyone have a spare they could sell me ??

Thanks in advance.
Dave.

This would be a project for a 3D printer, get the one you have scanned, reversed and printed.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

MG - the friendly marque.

Hi Andy,
I tried the chrome plastic U channel but it didn't look right so will probably try the black rubber U channel as it looks good in your pix.

Hi James,
Great idea about the 3D printing. Never thought about having it scanned and reversed to get a matching pair.

Dave.

Invalid or non-existent item ID.Just found this today on eBay.

Have been looking for them for ages as I have all the other parts. Will give it a go, price seems reasonable. See how I get on...
