Wind deflector fitting 6 years 6 months ago #181157

I have a wind deflector fitted to my TF but having looked at the fitting instructions online, it seems mine is missing the spacers/sleeves that go through the T bar. Does anyone know what the internal diameter of these are so that I can get some sleeving?
Thanks in advance.

They are just clearance on M6, so 6.5mm or bigger.

I had some plastic bar i used, but easier would be to buy some steel pipe. Just make sure the ends are cut perfectly square, or file them to length

Dont get "tube" or thin wall though!

Go to your local pound shite emporium and buy a packet of dog poo refill rolls and unroll them till you have the little tube that's in the centre.

But if you have roll bars (MGR) type you might find that the standard length is a bit short. This means that your seat belts don't easily self return because the clamping effect of the mount reduces the distance between the rollbar mounts and the T-bar/ rear speaker cover.
