Yes - as in yes they are!

There are no dumb questions. If you are unsure of anything - ask.

As far as I know, Trophys (Trophies?) were only fitted with 160bhp vvc engines. If it's got a non vvc engine fitted it's either not a Trophy (maybe had a badge fitted?) or the engine has been swapped for a 135 or other engine.

Anyone else go any words of wisdom for tgee?

A Trophy without a VVC engine would not be a trophy :nonod:

The TF160 is a VVC running MEMS3, so is the mk2 MGF Trophy.
The mk1 MGF VVC is a 143 VVC running MEMS 2.0J.

All other versions as non VVC.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

MG - the friendly marque.

Some cars are in trophy colours, blue and yellow for instance, but they are not Trophy 160s.

I think people think their car is a trophy because of it's colour. They just dont know that a Trophy 160 is the MGF top of the range edition with the VVC engine.
