Hi all,

The clutch bite seems very low in our newly aquired MGF and missus struggles to change gear with her short legs, can the clutch pedal be adjusted in anyway??

I would look at the slave cylinder bracket and the clutch arm, I guess one of them may be failing.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

Also is there any "free" play before the peddle starts to feel firm.

If so then air in the system, or faulty master cylinder not letting fresh fluid in the system when peddle released.

Thanks I will do some investigation, is the slave cylinder/arm visible thorough access in the boot?

From the vast history I have I know the previous owner had the slave cylinder replaced by the specialist he always took it too.

Hi,
There is a very good "how to" on the slave cylinder. Check it out, it may help you.
Cheers
