Hi I'm looking for some advise, again!! I'm going to clean and get rid of any rust from under the car. Can anyone suggest a good sealant that I can use in an electric sprayer? Many thanks in advance Stu:help:

Hi . I have used Dinitrol both heavy duty and cavity on my TF but I have no experience of using anything other than a good old air driven spray gun . Dinitrol is not cheap but was and I think still is used by some manufacturers. I used to work for The London Taxi Co ( formally London Taxis International ) and it was the prefered coating and I think still is used today.

How bad is the rust?

I wire brushed my subframe and painted with hamermite.

Hi TC don't know yet not got under the car yet. Was going to remove rust and then not sure what to use to protect it from the elements. Probably use Hammerite and then use a waxoyl type sealer thanks for the reply Stu

Before coating any bare metal apply a coat of rust converter I've used kurust in the past and seems to do a good job.
