Just had a look around on the net. Rimmer bros have a different part number:

XQM000790 - MGF from VIN XD511059 on, MG TF

so i'm guessing it depends on what VIN number your F has

If so I would avoid it, one of the speakers are damaged.

Also you'd need the cover which is different to the one in your car.

You'll need to run wiring to the headunit to connect them as well.

I am taking most of this out of my TF scrapper if you are interested.

Hi i recognise that new speaker t bar cover ;)

The speaker xqm number, one part number simply supersedes the other. The speaker box does fit all MGF & MGTF models.
Changing the rear t bulk head cover for speaker grilles involves also removing the seats to unbolt the seatbelt from the seat itself.
The seat belts run through the t bar cover and must be pulled through the rear on removal of your old one and then pushed through if you opt for the speaker grille version.

Rear speakers was only introduced from MGR on the 2000 MY MGF onwards so you will need to factor in for additional wiring.

Why do you think I picked that example B)

IIRC I managed to undo the seatbelts without removing the seat.

Yes, it is possible to undo the seat belt without taking the seat out.

Yes always happy to help,if only i had removed a few my knowledge would be better lol. I still find it quicker to remove the 4 bolts to lift the rear of seat up as the airgun does not fit between seatbelt and inner sill and its quicker and less fiddly than a ratchet for me personally.
i still have the seat i removed for pretensioner on my mind on a LE500 this morning.

I find the inside rear bolt an absolute pain to remove.
To be fair it is tight to get my T50 socket on the seatbelt but still easier.

Yes I know somebody who used to work at a former mg rover dealers and viewed several seat winders and trim get snapped off with a ratchet when the initial crack off the bolt give way.
I only keep this one, easier on a breaker bar for front bumper bolts and rear bumper can bolts also when they seize up.

I did the same mod earlier this year. Easy enough to do (I didn't have to remove the seats, just the fixing for the seat belt). My recommendation is to throw the MGR speakers and fit a higher quality version ( there are plenty about). I would suggest you get some replacement plastic clips as when it comes to replacing the speaker cover they often snap and you are short. My car didn't have any wiring so I ran some in the centre console which is a doddle with the ashtray and cubby liner removed. Final thing worth considering is B&Q do a length of brushed alloy trim about 50mm wide with a small return on it, i fitted this over the carpet and flush with the plastic t-bar cover parcel shelf side, finishes the job off and covers the razor sharp steel pressing. I probably have some spare plastic clips so it you want to go ahead PM me and i will stick some in the post.
