Hi all took the F for a spin today stopped after 30 miles water pissing out engine bay behind osr wheel. splash marks over osr gas strut .....tasted defo antifreeze.... small loss from header tank put heater on hot drove 15 miles to brown and gammon MG baldock no water leak but they could see it was wet underneath.
then drove 30 miles home....no more leaks heater blowing hot no more loss of water no overheating....? pressure test ?? pin hole in a hose...any other ideas

Pressure cap?

Identical problem when I picked up daughters TF115. eBay advert suggested that a suspect head gasket caused water loss. No problems on the 40 mile drive but when stopped and left alone she piddled the tank contents on the floor. Wrong pressure cap fitted, new cap fitted that was also suspect, you could hear it hissing!!. Another new cap solved any concerns.
