I've recently bought stuff, but only auction items, for which I use a sniper program (wont work through here) I still put all my buy it now items through here, just haven't got any lately.

On a MG Maestro/Montego/Metro forum where I was a moderator we had a thread for members to list eBay auction items they were bidding on that so, by a gentlemans agreement, meant other members wouldn't have a bidding war with them.

Would that work here?

NO!

If i saw an item listed that way, then there would be a good chance for me to "snipe" it from the original poster.

No one would be the wiser if it was me or someone else on here or not!

Let the market dictate the price :yesnod:

I also dislike it when people give a "heads up" to something rare, unusual or going cheap (in an auction) as the more people who know about it, the higher the final price will be!

A "BUY it NOW" is a different matter

What snipping program do you use? I use "JBidwatcher", but getting problematic with no support and eBay keeping changing their site!

Did try "goofbid" but it missed a few bids, then started charging :(
