A friend nearby has just bought a beautiful bright red 1960 1600 MGA. Immaculate - rebuilt from the ground up. The engine is still running in...

Jealous? Me? Not much!

Possibly the best looking post WW2 MG? We've a couple up here in the Highland MGOC and they always attract a lot of attention. However, have you tried getting in to one? If it has the pukka 17 inch steering wheel its a tight fit!

While on the subject of the MGA, this one is in the Grampian Motor Muesum (Alford, Aberdeenshire) and only has delivery miles on it! And it's a twin cam!!

I to like the underbody lights, they do add something :broon: (would go well with your car skirts).
Never sure how legal they are though??? :(

Used to work for a classic car and MG specialist, one of the perks was using the cars as standing does them no good. I racked up 1000 miles in 3 weeks in a 1600 MGA, and regularly used an OE white 1500 with red hide interior, Simply gorgeus driving experience. They are not fast cars but when it looks like this who cares, though they are surprisingly throwable and do hang on well in corners when pushed. Incedentally the MGA has the least scuttle shake of any classic sportscar due to the design of the chassis.
Keep hoping my numbers come up as an unmolested 1500 would definately be on the shopping list.

I posted that link as the auction offers different lengths and I was after 8cm for the door handle, not a full underbody kit, I already have that in neon tubes.

Yeah, the skirts would help.

Legally as long as you can not see the source of the light and use common sense most installations are ok.
