Hi all,
decided that this week end was time to renew the front upper arm little buggers  m
Asked around how to and best way, so got home early on Friday and stripped downm
Removed front plastic wheel arch protectors.
Remove front bumper.
Remove front lights.
Remove Crash Cans .
Clean upper ball joint threads and shock / spring bolt.
Remove ball joint nut and undue bolt to the above.
Undue upper nuts on top arm and remove.
Now read about remove needle bearings so tried sharp chisel but a bit to hit and miss for me so removed outer lip and rollers and welded bolt and wound them out.
putting back in new ones used old spindle to pull in, alot easy than hitting with a drift and no chance of damage.
put all back together and took out for drive now all nice and tight again and don't forget to grease after fitting and on servicing.
all in all took a good 9 hours but i do have aircon so a bit of a fiddle on one crash can as pipes fail you.

Tommy. :hgf:
