Hi everyone, anyone out there know if you can fit a wind deflector to a car with hoops fitted? every thing I have seen has been for a car without the hoops, I would like to add a deflector if poss so any advice would be helpful.

It will depend on what hoops you have and what tyrpe of windstop you have .................................................... but get the correct combination and yes you can have both.

I have both but I did a custom fit.

The loops are purely for show and bought from a former member of this parish who failed to supply fixings, and then blamed his daughter! I bought some bolts that fit the threaded holes on the underside and some thick 2 inch square spreader plates. I cut foam out from the underside of the T-bar to accomodate the plates and bolted the loops to them.

The clear windbreak (from the same source) uses glass shelf brackets, these I have screwed through the T-bar into the mounts for the tonneau cover that I never use.

Mike Satur sells hoops and windbreaks.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

MG - the friendly marque.

Thanks for the link. this looks like it could be the answer for me! but might just try the custom fit first just for the fun of it.
