MGF, trim track, suggestions 8 years 9 months ago #161014

Hello, lately on the track when I face the curves, I always have to correct the trajectory of my MGF because it tends to lose grip the back, here is the data with my set
Hydragas independent,
Hydragas front pressure 319psi
Rear 362psi,
adjustable dampers spax 35 total positions,
Front 0/21,
Rear 0/25,
height between center wheel and fender 320mm
Front right camber -1 ° 56 '
Left front camber -2 ° 16 '
rear camber right -2 ° 14 '
camber rear left -2 ° 09 '
front toe 0
rear toe: + 1.9mm sx
rear toe: + 1.6mm dx
bushings powerflex blue series
tires Kumho ECSTA V70A 215/45 r16

Any advice to stabilize the rear?

thanks

Giancarlo

Your settings are so far away from standard that I don't think anyone would be able to help.
Generally your whole setup seems very low. I wouldn't be surprised if the suspension was bottoming out on the rubber bump stops.

I suggest you try standard suspension and geo settings and try it again.

I considered the idea of replacing the standard set-up, especially the pressure of the rear suspension. For the moment I do not want to change the setup front because the front car is perfect, not understeers, even in extreme conditions.
I think that raising the rear restoring the pressure of hydra, the front-rear weight distribution becomes excessive to the rear, but I can, avoid turning up the back too because the aluminum cones are adjustable.

If you have already made up your mind then why ask???

As for the front being perfect that cannot be or your wouldnot be having the problem of the back tryign to break away.
