fitted them this morning to the wife's car and we've just come back from a 40mile blast through Wales.

Very responsive throttle, nice and smooth and quiet, when we got a chance to open it up the induction roar was nice and deep but not intrusive like my K&N kit was on my vvc.

Car feels faster too!!

Missus is well happy :broon:

All she wants now is a S/S back box and manifold :yesnod:

Nice one - took me a bit longer than an hour, used to take half an hour to remove and refit the engine cover and I had to do this as I couldn't work out where one of the hose connected working from the boot. And chopping up the resonator box took 3 evenings.

Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

MG - the friendly marque.

Probably something I should fit to my car.
Replace the TT back box with a Toyo Sport from Mike;
Stainless intake manifold and that's breathing sorted.
Now you have me thinking.

Removing the resonator box is on the "To Do" list. Have already fitted the TV5 TB and currently has a K&N 57I which I am not overly impressed with. The K&N was on "Elsie" when I bought her and I had bought a 160 Air Filter assembly but the wider bracket on't fit without removing the resonator. So the 160 assembly is now fitted into "Elsie" and the K&N was swapped into teh 75th.

Have just sourced a nice S/S rear box ......................... it's a MGOC Super Sports one that is about a year old and it's coming with CAT and Trophy 160 down pipe and manifold so that's the exhaust sorted. Am aslo geting a pair of TF 135 cams with distributor drive so this little lot will be going into the 75th to liven up her MPi engine B) and "Elsie" can have her exhaust back as currently it's on the 75th. The plan later once finances recover is to get a nice Miltek box for "Elsie" with DTM style finishers.
